An important honour in the nationwide contest Best Workplaces 2011 for the best working environment has been awarded to our company for the second time. Our company won 2nd place overall out of all companies participating, while in the food category it came 1st among companies employing 50-250 workers.
The contest was organized for the 9th consecutive year by the Great Place to Work Institute Hellas with the academic support of the ΑLBA Graduate Business School.
The contest is essentially an extensive, reliable annual survey that evaluates the working environment in various companies. The evaluation of these companies was based on the opinion of the workers themselves, who evaluated their working environment by completing relevant anonymous questionnaires, and on the practices followed by each company in Human Resources.
The company’s President and CEO, Mr Panagiotis Tsinavos, said in a statement: «At Kri Kri, the workplace is one of the focal points in the Corporate Social Responsibility programme it implements, with caring for workers its primary objective. For this reason, this honour is a practical recognition of our people-based philosophy as well as of our company’s long consistent strategy that focuses on the development of its people, who deserve to be recognized and rewarded».
Kri Kri, the forerunning Serres dairy industry continuously expanding both in Greece and abroad, is constantly striving to cultivate a better working climate as corporate values are no different to the workers’ personal values.
The award will be presented to the company along with all the other companies being honoured, on Monday 11 April at the Athenaeum Intercontinental hotel during an official celebratory dinner.
