Quality assurance

The production and distribution of top-quality dairy products is both a strategic choice and a commitment for us at Kri Kri. We achieve this goal by constantly investing in expert scientific staff, technology and new production lines as well as by implementing strict controls. The controls start at the farms that supply Kri Kri with milk and continue up until the point when the end product is available at the Points of Sale.

In order to achieve the aforementioned goals, we have developed a Quality Management System which we implement and that has been certified by the appropriate authority according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and a Food Safety Management System which is certified according to ISO 22000:2018, BRC issue 9 and IFS version 7 standards, which are based on the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) for all production lines so that the hygiene, safety and quality of our products are fully ensured. Furthermore,the implementation of the Technical Standard BRC & FDF certifies that the contracted independent dairy farms that supply milk to Kri Kri do not use genetically modified cattle feed.

At Kri Kri, putting into practice our sensitivity to environmental protection issues, we have developed, implemented and have been certified for Energy and Environmental Management Systems according to the ISO 50001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Kri Kri's strength is its people, thus, our company's people-oriented philosophy is actively demonstrated by the fact that it has developed, implements and is certified with ISO 45001-2018 for its Health & Safety at Work Management System. Kri Kri is a member of Sedex (SMETA 4 Pillars) which is one of the world’s largest collaborative platform for buyers, suppliers and auditors used to manage performance around labour rights, health & safety, the environment and business ethics.

We have a recognized quality control laboratory, equipped with modern equipment and properly trained scientific staff, who carryout the strict control procedures we implement every day.

All these elements help us operate according to our principles and achieve our goal: to offer our customers healthy, safe and delicious products.

Kri Kri S.A.

Kri Kri's high standard production plant is located in Northern Greece, in the middle of the fertile valley of Struma and just 3 km from the town of Serres. Having a history since 1954, Kri Kri S.A. produces ice cream and yogurt from 100% Greek milk from Serres and has earned Greek and foreign consumers.
